Mary A. Sharick
Mary A. Sharick, 97, lifelong Hibbing resident, died Monday September 10, 2012, at Fairview University Medical Center—Mesabi, Hibbing.  She was born in Hibbing on March 18, 1915 to George and Frances Sharich.  Mary graduated from Hibbing High School and had worked as a dental assistant with the practice of Dr. D.V. Barrett.  She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church who enjoyed traveling, loved cooking, and took pride in the upkeep of her home.   Mary’s family would like to thank the staff at Guardian Angels for the wonderful care given to both Mary and her sister Julia, who died in 2011.
She is survived by nieces Maryanne “Katey” Barrett of North Hollywood, CA, Jane Barrett of North Hollywood, CA, and Georgia (Cliff) Rasch of Hibbing; nephews David (Kathleen) Barrett of Lansing, MI, James Patrick Barrett of Minneapolis, William Sharick of Britt, MN, and Paul (JoAnn) Sharich of Leeds, AL.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Paul Sharich, and Andrew Sharick; and sisters Anne Barrett and Julia Sharick.
At Mary’s request, a private graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.  Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.
