Mary Catherine Sotzsky, 59, Hibbing, died Wednesday July 24, 2013, at home, after a courageous seven month battle with cancer. She was born in Washington DC on February 20, 1954, to Elmer and Eleanor Isaac. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Arthur Sotzsky, of Hibbing; she was a beloved mother of five children: Lori (Ed) Joy of Fairfield, PA, Tammy (Rick) Richardson of Fairfield, PA, Steve Sotzsky, Kevin Sotzsky, and Katie Sotzsky, all of Hibbing; her mother, Eleanor Isaac of Fairfield, PA; a brother, Paul (Carolyn) Isaac of Adelphi, MD; and eight grandchildren: Hailey, Connor, Justus, Tyler, Gavin, Skyler, Jackson, and Jenna; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Ann Sotzsky of Frederick, MD; and a brother-in-law, Steve (Barb) Sotzsky of Hibbing. She was preceded in death by her father.
