Michael L. Schultz, 66, Cloverdale, rural Nashwauk, MN, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 in his home.  He was born Aug. 6, 1949 in Grand Rapids, MN to Robert L. and Lena Schultz.  Michael was a lifelong resident of the Cloverdale community and had worked for 31 years at the Nashwauk Township garage.  In his free time Michael loved to work on cars, trucks or his tractor.  He also could be found at many garage sales and swap meets.

He is survived by his brothers: Norman Schultz of Ham Lake, MN, Robert L. Schultz of Grand Rapids, MN, Terry (Pat) Schultz of Longwood, FL and John Schultz of Braham, MN, his sisters: Linda Pearson of Sylacauga, AL, Joanne (Mark) Hill of Nashwauk, MN, Kathy Schultz of Crystal, MN and Sandy Schultz of Hinckley, MN along with many special nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Ervin “Duke” Schultz and Gary Schultz and a sister Karen Schultz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 in the Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.  Visitation will be in the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time.  Burial will be in the Nashwauk Cemetery with Marty Dusterhoft, Joe Marty, Warren Stolp, Richard Schultz, Robert Kersting, Jason Hill, Andrew Schultz, Adam Schultz and Robert Pearson acting as pallbearers.
