Michael J. Tomperi
Michael J. Tomperi, 46, of Hibbing, passed away Monday May 29, 2017 in Hibbing. Michael was born May 6, 1971 to Maurice and Shellie (Buchar) Tomperi in Minneapolis, MN. He enjoyed bowling and golf, and was a member of The Viking World Order.
Michael is survived by his wife Renie (Hart) Tomperi of Hibbing, his mother Shellie (Tony) Stilinovich of Hibbing, sisters Megan (Randy) Knowles of Hibbing, and Tara (Mike) Arevalo of Broken Arrow, OK., brother Mike (Angela) Blacet of Tulsa OK., his grandmother Judy (Dick) Louhi of Hibbing, a step-daughter Makala Skalsky of Hibbing, a brother-in-law Shon (Jennifer) Hart of Hibbing, a sister-in-law Hillary (Clay) Pehling of Minneapolis, and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father Maurice Tomperi.
Michael’s family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Perlov and his staff at St. Luke’s Oncology for the wonderful care and compassion they provided to Michael.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday June 10, 2017 at the First Lutheran Church of Hibbing. Rev. Ben Shori will be officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the First Lutheran Church. Services are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
