Michael B. “Muscles” Wauzynski, 63, lifelong Hibbing resident, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at home. He was born in Hibbing on April 22, 1950, to Leonard and Anne (Lastovich) Wauzynski. Michael had worked as laborer with the local labor union and was a member of Iron Range Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and camping. Michael was united in marriage to Kathleen Kukko on January 7, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of Hibbing; three children: Rhianna (John) Walsh, Jessica Ekanem, and Stefani Wauzynski, all of Hibbing; a brother, David Wauzynski of Hibbing; his father, Leonard Wauzynski of Hibbing; a sister, Donna Wauzynski of Hibbing; four grandchildren: Aidan Schmelzer, Jacoby Ekanem, Aubree Grace Walsh, and Myles Walsh. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Wauzynski.
