Nada Gareri

Nada Gareri, 86, of Hibbing, passed away Monday June 19, 2017 at Johanna Shores Nursing Home in Arden Hills, MN.  Nada was born December 15, 1930 to Nick and Mary (Serverovic) Novakovich in Carson Lake, MN.  She was formerly a member of The St. Leo’s Catholic Church of Hibbing, later becoming a member of The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  Nada was a homemaker, but had also worked part time as a bookkeeper for Sachs Brother’s.

Nada is survived by her daughters: Jamie Gareri of Arden Hills, MN; and Diane (Wayne) Mudgett of Gilman, WI; sisters-in-law: Lissa Bogdanovich of Bovey, and Theresa Gareri of Bovey.

Nada was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Gareri in 1991,  her parents, 4 sisters, and an infant son Daniel Gareri.

Funeral Services for Nada will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  The Rev. Fr. Gabriel Waweru will officiate.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday.  Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
