Nancy (Axelson) Gihl

Nancy (Axelson) Gihl, age 70 of Hibbing passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016.  A loving mother, grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed.  Nancy was born November 1, 1945 to John and Mabel Axelson.  She grew up and attended school in Tower, MN.  Nancy worked at the Virginia Hospital for many years where she retired.

She is survived by her children Scott of Denver, CO, Thomas (Jodi), Maple Grove, MN, Susanne of White Bear Lake, MN, and Theodore (Monica) of Lakeville, MN, grandchildren, Michael, Tony, Tiffany (Jim), Benjamin, Matthew, Alex, and great-grandchildren Micah and Aubrey.  She is also survived by many other family and friends.

Funeral services for Nancy will be 2:00pm, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Hillcrest Suites Residence located at 1520 East Hwy 37 in Hibbing.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at Hillcrest on Saturday.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
