Nicholas Martin Sikich
Nicholas Martin Sikich, 61, St. Cloud, formerly of Hibbing, died Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in St. Cloud.  He was born in Hibbing to Nicholas and Mary Ellen (Kennedy) Sikich on May 14, 1953. He was a U.S Army veteran.   Nick enjoyed skiing the slopes of Colorado with his son Chris and in later years golfing with his friends from the VA.  His greatest joy and memories were with his two granddaughters, his son, and daughter in law.  Nick had a special place in his heart for every member of his family.
He is survived by his son, Christopher (Jen) Sikich, Loveland, CO, sisters, Sue (Steve) Zaitz, Hibbing, Sandy (Mike) Coyne, Plymouth, MN, and Jean (Mickey) Sibell, Hibbing, two granddaughters, Sierra Dawn and Taylor Marie Sikich, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Tom Sikich and brother in law, Chuck DiPinto.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am., Tuesday, November 18, 2014, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Brian Lederer celebrating the Funeral Mass.  Visitation will be in Church for one hour before Mass.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.  Military Honors will be accorded by the Mid Range Honor Guard.
