OBITUARY FOR NORMA M. NICOLELLI
Norma M. Nicolelli, 88, was called home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2017. She was born on May 25, 1925, the fourth of five children to Eusebbio and Giovanna (Andreoli) Romani and was a lifelong resident of Hibbing.
Norma was a graduate of Hibbing High School and attended Hibbing Junior College where she received an associate degree. As a teenager, she worked as an elevator operator at the Androy Hotel and after college and marriage, she worked as a teller at the First National Bank in Hibbing. After her first child was born, she became a full-time mom and provided unending support as a wife and cheerleader to her husband.
Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Gene Sr., sisters Irene Eastman-Balasz, Lee Novell, and Dora Saign. She is survived by her brother Mario Romani (Judy), her loving children Gene Jr. (Connie Soroko), Lori (Ron) Harter and her grandchildren Chris (Karyn) Harter and Lisa Harter.
A celebration of her life will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, June 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
