Dennis Patrick “Pat” Olson
Pat Olson, 62, Hibbing, died peacefully at home on January 10, 2013.   Born on March 17, 1950, Pat was a hard-working, proud Iron Ranger with strong values of honesty, faithfulness and compassion.  He married the love of his life, Kathy, in 1971, and worked hard to provide for his family.  He had a passion for old cars, NASCAR, and his grandchildren.  Pat had worked at L&M Radiator and later for many years for The City of Hibbing in the sanitation department.  He was a member and leader of the Shifter’s Car Club.  His energetic spirit, big hugs, and long stories will be missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathy Olson, of Hibbing; a son, Dan (Cindy) Galovich, of Kenosha, WI; two daughters, Denise Sodergren of Ramsey, MN and Denell (Kevin) Kruse of Sartell, MN; grandchildren: Samantha, Maggie and Ryan; a brother, Tom (JoAnne) Olson of Hibbing; nephews:  Tim, Jason, and Travis Olson; a niece, Cindy Campbell;  a special great-nephew, Christian Olson and special great-nieces Heidi and Shaina Olson.  Pat was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie; his father, Vernon “Buster;” a grandson, Nicholas, and a brother, Jim.
