Patricia B. Carlson, 76, Hibbing, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at her home with her daughters, son-in-law, and niece Ruth Windorski at her side.  She was born in Minneapolis, MN, to Carl and Ethyl Anderson on March 2, 1938 and had lived in California before moving to Hibbing in 1991.   Pat enjoyed playing bocce ball and also enjoyed bowling. Her strength in her illness came from her love and concern for her great granddaughter Annelise.  Patricia was known to all as Grandma Bunny.
She is survived by her children, Leslie Bowman, and Laura (Larry) Kerr both of Hibbing, and David (Anne) Carlson, Tualatin, OR, siblings, Carl (Elizabeth) Anderson, Superior, WI,  Joseph (Linda) Glaze, Salt Lake City, Utah, Donna (Rex) Adams, Addelanto, Calif., and Charlene Vasey, Oshkosh, Wis., 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester, her parents, and siblings, Ruth Shay, Ethyl Thompson, and Dorothy Roxberg.
Patricia donated her body to the Mayo Clinic and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home. Special thanks to Hospice nurses, Bobby, Stacy, Carly, Gus, and Vanessa.
