Patricia Miller

September 24, 1927 — April 15, 2017

Patricia A. “Patsy” Miller

Patricia A. “Patsy” Miller, 89, long time resident of Kelly Lake, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday April 15, 2017.  She was born September 24, 1927 to Fred and Mary (Bauer) Zbacnik and lived in Carson Lake.  Patsy had an interesting life.  She love to fish, pick berries, raise her vegetable garden and can everything she possibly could.

Never at a loss for words, she was notorious for long phone conversations.  The last few years she looked forward to watching the Porter Wagoner Show every Sunday.  She loved his rhinestone suits!

Most of all was the enjoyment she got out of cooking anything and everything.  The holidays were special to her.  Everyone would come home and she would cook enough to “feed Coxey’s army.”  Nobody made better potica, strudel, sarmas, fried chicken, and especially fried rice better than Ma.

“Love begins at home and it is not how much we do…but how much love we put in that action.” Saint Teresa of Calcutta

Patricia is survived by her children: Debbie (John) Fena of Side Lake, Susie Milos of Virginia, John (Barb) Miller of Hibbing, Dr. Tom (Beth) Loo of Pengilly, David (Beth) Loo of Blaine; her grandchildren: John (Edwin) Fena, Lynnae Javorina, Colleen Javorina, Amanda Miller, Johnny Miller, Dana (Jim) Schwieters, Jason (Ashlie) Loo, Christopher Loo, Jonathan (Laura) Loo, Tricia (Lance) Pettis, Kaela (Luke) Rekucki; 14 great-grandchildren, and our special extended family John and Rose Ann Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her husband John, infant daughter Rita, brothers Freddie and Dickie, sister Franny and her parents.

We will miss you forever!!
