Patricia Ann Truax

Patricia Ann Truax age 90 of Wilpen, MN passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. Patricia was born in Deer Creek, MN, November 14, 1933 to Peter and Sarah (Anderson) Harthan. Patricia graduated from Deer Creek High School. On October 7, 1950 Patricia was joined in marriage to Mervin Truax in Grand Forks, ND. She was a member of the Chisholm Baptist Church. Patricia enjoyed shopping fishing, cutting grass and doing yard work and tending to her gardens. She also loved to watch the birds at the feeders. Patricia is survived by her children, Michael (Juanita) Truax, Deborah (Bob) Waara, Mary White, Lori (John) Ozello, Bonnie Burt, sister, Beverly Blevins, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mervin, parents Peter and Sarah, 7 siblings and son-in-law, Ron Burt. Private family services will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing. Memorials are preferred to your favorite charity in honor of Patricia.
