Patrick J. Theisen, 59, lifelong resident of Hibbing passed away peacefully, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. He was born on January 17, 1958 to Frank and Cecelia (Hopp) Theisen in Hibbing. Patrick was employed as a maintenance mechanic for Keetac in Keewatin, MN. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. Patrick really enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors, racing, woodworking, and gardening. He was also known as a workaholic.
Patrick the youngest of ten siblings is survived by his wife, Kristin Theisen, son, Jeremy Theisen, and daughter, Amanda Theisen, all of Hibbing, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Albert and Peter Theisen.
Funeral services for Patrick will be held 11:00am, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. The Rev. Fr. Gabriel Waweru will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing at a later date. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
