Paul Jerulle
Paul Jerulle, 93, New Braunfels, TX, passed away on January 30, 2018 at his home. He was born September 26, 1924 in Kitzville, Minnesota to Ralph and Raffalina (Valente). Paul was raised and worked in Hibbing for all of his life. He had moved to New Braunfels in recent years to be closer to family. Paul loved spending time with his family as well as his woodworking hobbies, gardening and camping with the Good Sam Club. He was a graduate of Hibbing High and an Army Air Corp veteran having served during World War II where he received his pilot training. After his return from active duty, he spent the next thirty five years working in the mines for J&L Steel on the Iron Range. After retiring from the mines, Paul and June spent many years traveling in their motorhome visiting family and friends across the country.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Raffalina Jerulle and by his wife of 57 years, June Jerulle. Also preceding Paul in death were his brothers Frank, Tony and Nick as well as his sister Rose Clemens. He is survived by his children, Timothy Jerulle (Sue Jerulle Mingo) of New Braunfels, Terrance Jerulle (Dawn) of Naples, Florida and Gloria Jerulle Linginfelter (Dan) of St Simons Island Georgia. He is survived by his sister, Conchetta Jerulle Deblack (Ludwig) of Hibbing. Paul had eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am. Friday June 15, 2018 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with visitation one hour before Mass. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by Mid-Range Honor Guard.
