Paul J. Przybylski
Paul J. Przybylski, a resident of Hibbing, Minnesota, passed away on January 30, 2014, at age 72. He was born December 17, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois. He joins his loving wife Eileen (Tate) Przybylski, who had preceded him in joining the Lord in His house. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Richard (Lucille) Staack and Stephen Staack. He is survived by his siblings Vernon (Elaine) Staack, Madelyn Staack, Ted Staack, Kristean (Michael) Todd, and Nancy Staack and numerous nieces and nephews. He became a devoted Catholic and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Hibbing, MN. He had joined the US Army at a young age and was one of the first members of the Army elite Special Forces and was a qualified paratrooper. He had served in combat in a number of countries during his Army career and had received numerous service decorations, including the Bronze Star for heroism in action. He achieved the rank of Captain while serving in the Army Corps of Engineers during his numerous tours of duty in the Vietnam conflict and retired from the Army after completing his Army career in the Army Reserves. His door was always open for anyone in need and he will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are invited to be made to The Salvation Army, Hibbing, MN, to which Paul has made numerous contributions.
A Memorial service for Paul will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 14, 2014, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2810 - 7th Avenue, East, Hibbing. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at the church with a luncheon to follow the service. Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Post 8510 Color Guard.
