Paul Dunham Stoneburner

Paul Dunham Stoneburner, 63, Duluth, formerly of Hibbing, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth.   He was born in Hibbing on December 3 , 1951, to Dale and Helen Stoneburner.   Paul graduated from Hibbing High School and lived in Duluth all his adult life, working at St. Mary’s Hospital and Goodwill Industries.  He lived at Hillside Homes for the last 12 years of his life.

Paul loved the Vikings, the Twins, UMD Hockey, Christmas and his family.  He loved to listen to music and talk about sports.  He taught us all how to be kinder people and brought love to all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Dale Stoneburner, of Hibbing; a sister, Jane; brothers Tom (Kelley) and John (Nancy); nieces Katie Simonson(Dustin) and Natalie Stoneburner; and nephews David and Michael Stoneburner.   He was preceded in death by his mother.

Thank you to St. Mary’s Hospital for their excellent care.  The Stoneburner’s would like to especially thank Diane and Pat and all the staff at Hillside Homes for their loving care over all these years.

Visitation will be Friday October 30, 2015, at Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, from 11 AM until the 11:30 AM funeral service.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.
