Peggy Lynn Hallan, 62, Hibbing, died Monday, November 9, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. She was born Nov. 16, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. Peggy was a Welcoming Sergeant and Senior Soldier at Salvation Army in Hibbing. Her family extends special thanks to the staff at VRMC ICU and St. Mary’s MICU.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Jerry) Hallan—Towner; her fiancé, Richard Haro; her mother, Margie Gray; her “mom,” Edna Davis; grandchildren: Richard Hallan, Shawn Hallan, Cody (Katy) Hallan, and Josh and Tanya; great-grandchildren: Kyle, Taryn, Myah, Xzavier, Haytham, and Braedyn; sisters Ginny, Bev, Pam, Robin; a sister-in-law, Sandy; an aunt, Delia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Hallan; her father, Truman Brittingham, Jr; her dad, Herbert Gray, Jr; and a niece, Diane.
