Ralph Gangl
Ralph Gangl, 85, Nashwauk, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Evergreen Terrace in Grand Rapids.  He was born to Steven and Regina Gangl in Nashwauk on June 24, 1928. He married Pauline Halling in Marble on January 6, 1954 and had been employed as a Mechanic at LTV Steel.  Ralph was a decorated Marine Corps. veteran of both WW II and Korea. He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Nashwauk.

Ralph is survived by his children, Steve (Lynne) Gangl, Nashwauk, Dale (Dana) Gangl,  East Bethel, MN, Darrin (Traci) Gangl, Bovey, and Cynthia (Mike) Eliason, Gilbert, MN, his brother, Delano (Sharon) Gangl, Nashwauk, his sisters, Deloris Kiskunas,  Nashwauk, and Lois Kovach in Florida, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline on June 11, 2010, siblings, Rose Clifton and Richard Gangl, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Dennis Hoffman celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Monday with Parish Wake Prayers at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue at 10:00 am., Tuesday at Church. Burial will be in Nashwauk Cemetery.  Arrangements     are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.  If preferred memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s research.
