Raymond Anick
Raymond Anick, 88, Buhl, former longtime Pengilly resident died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl. He was born in Ashland, Wis. to Thomas and Anna Anick on October 4, 1924. Ray married Deloris Christian on October 20, 1945. He had been employed with Hanna Mining Co. retiring as Assistant Maintenance Superintendant. Raymond was a member of the Pengilly United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his children, Jacqueline Copple, Hibbing, Sandra (Steve) Cooper, Iron, and Tony Anick, Pengilly, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Deloris in 2008, two children, James and Deborah, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm. Sunday, March 17, 2013 in the Pengilly United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ruth Gangloff officiating. Visitation will be at Church for one hour before the service. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to North Star Hospice in Hibbing. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.
