Richard "Rick" James

Richard “Rick” James age 76 of Hibbing passed away Friday November 11, 2022, at Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation. Rick was born September 13, 1946, in Hibbing to Brad and Luella (Allen) James. Rick attended Hibbing High School and at age 16 moved out to California. While in California Rick owned used car lots. Cars were his passion, he owned corvettes and later enjoyed racing stock cars in Southern California.  For the last 15 years Rick resided in Hibbing and worked at Homes, Inc. as a direct support staff coordinator and started wintering in Bullhead City, AZ.  Rick loved to have beers with his buddies and was an avid Vikings fan, so please join the family at Checco’s on Tuesday, November 22nd at 1:00pm to have a cold one in honor of Rick. He is survived by his siblings, Deb (Tom) Fisher, Sue (John) Wauzynski, Gregg (Laurie) James, nieces, nephews extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his niece Lori Wheeler and companion Sue Pierce.
