Robert "Butch" Ernest Frisk

It is with great sadness that On September 27, 2023 Robert (Butch) Frisk of Hibbing passed away peacefully at Aspen Grove in Chisholm at the age of 83.

Robert will be remembered and missed by his wife Serene Frisk, daughters, Tina Frisk, Caren (Mike) Hardy, Lisa (Scott) Bell; grandchildren, Ashley Erlitz, Anthony Frisk, Stephanie (Cody) Collins, Nick (Courtney) Spotts, Paige (Nick) Koskiniemi, Michael Hardy, Zachary Tvedt, Brianna Tvedt; 11 great grandchildren and numerous friends and family members.

Robert had a passion for snowmobile racing.  He used his hands and mind when working on building or restoring racing snow machines, one of which won the World Record.  He also enjoyed antique cars, drag racing, fishing and camping.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Ernest & Manetta Frisk, siblings Maxine (Bob) Wright, Barbara (Richard) Cain, Audrey Petersen, Dale Frisk and his beloved little dog Abby.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the Aspen Grove Staff and the Hospice Team for their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the ceremony beginning at 12:00PM.  Please join the family for refreshments following the service right at the funeral home.
