Roman H. Harwood
Roman H. Harwood, 90, Hibbing, died Monday, July 21, 2014, at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  He was born in Spring Valley, MN on January 24, 1924, to John and Hilda May Harwood.  Roman had worked as a truck driver for J&L Steel Company and was a member of Chippewa Masonic Lodge #275 in Bigfork, MN.  He enjoyed camping, traveling and bird hunting.
He is survived by five children:  Ramona Birdsall of Fredericksburg, IN, Lauri (Larry) Bushell of Hibbing, Corey (Donna) Harwood of Hibbing, Carrine (Tim) Arnold of Macon, MO, and Parnell Harwood of Hibbing; by three siblings:  Darell Harwood of Bigfork, MN, Donna Nelson of Bigfork, MN, Vivian Rootes of Hibbing, MN; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  Roman was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Harwood; by a son, Kevin Harwood; his parents; and by sisters, Iris Bullock and Priscilla York.
