Roseann Koprivech

Roseann Koprivech, 79, longtime resident of Nashwauk, MN, died Friday, December 20, 2024, at Essentia-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN. She was born July 24, 1945, to Everett and Germaine (Truchon) Pierce in Ashland, WI. Roseann entered the Sacrament of Marriage with Anthony Koprivech on April 14, 1989. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Nashwauk, MN. Roseann enjoyed gardening, flowers, and was an avid reader. She loved to go fishing, going for rides on the Harley Davidson, and especially spend time with her children and grandchildren, as some of her favorite hobbies. 

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Anthony Koprivech, Nashwauk, MN, daughters, Michelle Metzer, Keewatin, MN, and Victoria (Mark) Haggerty, Farmington, MN, her six siblings, Terry (Leone) Pierce, Missouri, Raymond (Susan) Pierce, Hibbing, MN, Mike (Mona) Pierce, Hibbing, MN, Judy Pierce, Kelly Lake, MN, Jackie (Michael) Brooks, Coon Rapids, MN, and Henry (Sheryl) Pierce, Kerr Location, MN, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Anthony Metzer, parents, Everett and Germaine, two sisters, Mary Olson and Fern Santa, and three brothers, Everett, John, and Paul Pierce. 

Funeral services for Roseann will be 11:30 am, Friday, December 27, 2024, at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Nashwauk, MN. The Rev. Fr. Babu Mandagiri will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 11:30 am funeral Mass at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Nashwauk Cemetery, Nashwauk, MN.
