Rosemary Joan Hill, 78, Hibbing, died unexpectedly on Monday December 8, 2014 at Range Fairview Medical Center in Hibbing. She was born to John and Frances (Mikolich) Mehle on May 25, 1936 in Ely. Rosemary graduated from Ely High School, attended X-Ray Technician School at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. She had been employed with the Adams Clinic for over 30 years starting as an X-Ray Tech. and retiring as a Supervisor. After her retirement Rosemary spent time volunteering including the Hibbing Hospital, the Blood Bank, and in the Blessed Sacrament Kitchen. She enjoyed camping, cooking, baking, bargain shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Mark (Gina) Rathbun, Elk River, MN, Lori Laliberte, Hibbing, Lynn (Henry) Erkelenz, Hibbing, Donald (Ellie) Hill, Lakeville, Debbie (Arnold) Lundstrom, Tower, Dennis (Kris) Hill, Embarrass, Dori Hill, Superior, and James (Cheryl) Hill Jr., Brighton, CO, grandchildren, Hallie, Maggie, Eric, Nicole, Nick, Joey, Sarah, Theresa, Heather, Lisa, Adam, Alec, Ashley, Damian, Michael, Jaymie, Austin, Josh, Lauren, Tyler, Victoria, and Morgan, and several great grandchildren, brothers, James (Donna) Mehle, Hibbing, Michael (Jan) Mehle, Minnetonka, Bobby (Jayme) Mehle, Maple Grove, MN, brother in law, Richard (Patty) Hill, Cedar, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ray Mehle, grandson, Jason Laliberte, and husband, James on November 21, 2014.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm. Saturday, December 13, 2014 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Brian Lederer officiating. Visitation will be in Church beginning at 11:30 am. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
