Rudolph R. Christenson

Rudolph R. Christenson, 86, Hibbing died Wednesday January 17, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.  He was born in Hibbing to Raymond and Anne (Asich) Christenson on March 8, 1931 and was an Army Veteran during the Korean War. He had been employed with the mines as a cat skinner and was a member of the VFW Post 1221.

He is survived by his wife Elberta, children, Ross (Karen) Christenson, Menomonie, WI, Rodney (Jean) Christenson, Glenrock, WY, Ranee (John) Jones, White Pigeon, MI, Rick (Tammy) Christenson, Side Lake, MN, and Rochelle (Bill) Guzbaddo, Eveleth, MN, numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm. Sunday January 21, 2018 in the Open Door Church with Pastor Roland Weaver officiating.  Visitation will be in Church beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by Mid-Range Honor Guard. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
