Rudolph R. Rajkovich, 74, Cherry died unexpectedly Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.  He was born on April 10, 1939 to George Sr. and Manda Rajkovich in Hibbing, MN.  Rudy entered the Sacrament of Marriage with Verna Jensen on September 4, 1969 in Watertown, SD.  A resident of Cherry for the past 25 years Rudy worked as a car detailer for Ranger Chevrolet in Hibbing.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, fixing up and restoring old and unwanted items.  He loved working in the garage, playing casino games at Black Bear Casino, riding his lawnmower until it ran out of gas, and spending time with his family.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Verna Rajkovich, Cherry, MN, children, Jeanna (Claude) Clarke, Hibbing, Nancy (Richard) Harthan, Silver Bay, MN, Annette (Roy) Kemi, Carlton, MN, and Rudy (Tammy) Rajkovich Jr., Forbes, MN, his sister, Rose Kastet, Hibbing, two sister-in-laws, Stephie Rajkovich, Keewatin, and Dolly Rajkovich, Hibbing, 21 grandchildren, Donny (Shaunte) Richards, Jennifer (Shon) Hart, Bailey Conant, Jamie Harthan, Kolten Harthan, Roy (Kelly) Kemi Jr., Ashley (Joel Gassert) Kemi, Cory (Ashley Krall) Kemi, Casey Kemi, Kayden Kemi, Allison Rajkovich, Dustin Rajkovich, April Rajkovich, Jeremy Rajkovich, Hailey Rajkovich, Abby Rajkovich, Alex Rajkovich, Kristina Shavor, Kaylee Shavor, Kaitlynn Rajkovich, and Kristen Rajkovich, four great-grandchildren, Mason, Sasha, Bentley, and Carson, and two due in February and April, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rudy was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Geary-Conant, grandchild, Casey Geary, his parents, four brothers, George Jr., Dan Sr., John, and Tom Costello, and three sisters, Mary, Olga, and Josephine.
Funeral services for Rudy will be held at 1:30pm, Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  Raymond Sampson will officiate.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday.  Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing.
