Sally Jo Rabbers, 60, Hibbing died Monday, August 25, 2014 at Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hibbing. She was born on May 4, 1954 to George and Arlene (Flier) Rabbers in Hibbing. She was employed with Hardee’s as one of their manager’s. Her pastimes included bowling and softball, and she also enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her three children, Michele (Brian) Newcomer, Circle Pines, MN, Christina (Dewey) Mortensen, Nashwauk, MN, and Nicole (Jeremy) Fink, Hibbing, siblings, Barb (Denny) Dean, Terri (Greg) Hodson, Jan (Jim) Maki, Kevin (Tandy) Rabbers, John (Yong) Rabbers, Robert Rabbers, Kathy Korth, and Linda (Katie) Lind, six grandchildren, T.J., Phaylen, Elaina, Noah, Aleksander, and Malena, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, John Magnuson, and two brothers, Kenneth and Stephen Rabbers.
Funeral services for Sally will be at 11:00am, Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. The Rev. Kevin Norton will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Friday. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing.
