Samuel Chester Brandenburger

Samuel C. Brandenburger, 47, Virginia died Friday, December 28, 2018 at Essentia Health Virginia.  He was born September 22, 1971 in Clewiston, FL.  He had been a resident of the Iron Range Area for the past 25 years, coming from the Dakotas.  He was employed with Minntac and worked in the Crusher.  Sam loved fishing, and old cars, especially Chevy’s.  He was dearly fond of his 1971 Corvette.

He is survived by his three children, Tyler David Brandenburger, Virginia, MN, Adriana Megen (Peter) Fertig, Omaha, NE, and Shawn Thomas Brandenburger, Virginia, MN, and his father, Leonard Brandenburger, Side Lake, MN.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Brandenburger.

Per Sam’s request, a private graveside service was held at Lakeview Cemetery in Buhl, MN.  Steve Tomberlin officiated.  Arrangements were with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
