Shirley A. Pulis, 81, Hibbing, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014 in Hibbing. She was born Nov. 9, 1933 in Hibbing to Arvid and Anna Williams. Shirley married Marino Pulis and together, they raised their two children. Shirley had worked in the bakery dept. at Super One. In her free time she enjoyed spending time outdoors at her cabin and being with the grandchildren she loved.
She is survived by her two children Sandy (Todd) Kintner of Hibbing and Paul (Tamara) Pulis of Delano, MN, grandchildren: Devyn (Gerald) Wallace, Tyler (Alisha) Kintner, Courtney Kintner, Cole Pulis, Grayson Pulis, Dalton Pulis and Logan Pulis, great grandchildren: Braxton Kintner, Paige Kintner, Joseph Wallace and Maxwell Marino Wallace, her brother Kenneth (Carol) Williams of Seattle, WA, a sisters in law Ruth Williams and Lois Pulis both of Hibbing, her dog Sasha and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marino, a sister Beverly Iser, her brother Ronald Williams, brothers in law Don Iser, Victor Pulis and Tony Chacich, and a sister in law Ann Chacich.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Hibbing. The Rev. will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be in the Dougherty Funeral Home, Monday, Dec. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. and in the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Cole, Grayson, Dalton and Logan Pulis, Gerald Wallace and Tyler Kintner.
