Sonia K. Fischer

Sonia Kaye Fischer age 78, of Hibbing passed away Saturday, February

10, 2024, at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl. Sonia was born in Chicago, IL to

Otto and Jennie (Ball) Bolt on January 28, 1946. Sonia attended

Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis, where she graduated in 1964. While

raising her family in the Cushing, MN area, she drove school bus for 20

years. Sonia moved to Hibbing 18 years ago to be closer to her family. She

enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, scrapbooking, crafts, and gardening.

Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and

great-grandchildren. Sonia is survived by her children, Chuck Ewertsen,

Long Prairie, MN, Chris Ewertsen, Long Prairie, MN, Cher (Scott

Ostrander) Bosarge, Keewatin, MN, Jolie (Jim) Wolf, Nashwauk, MN;

grandchildren, Tierra Ewertsen, Lisa Ewertsen, Willow Ewertsen,

Mackenzie Davis, Kelsey Davis, Teigan (Dalton Feldhaus) Bosarge; and

great-grandchildren, Julian, Ava, Gabriel, and Mila. She was preceded in

death by her parents. No services will be held at this time, her family will

be hosting a celebration of life on July 27th 2024 in Nashwauk, MN.
