Stephonia A. Paglarini

Stephonia A. Paglarini, 94, Hibbing, died Sat. Nov. 12, 2011 in the University Medical Center, Mesabi in Hibbing.  She was born June 18, 1917 in Eveleth, MN to Frank and Mary Gregorich.  Stephonia grew up in the Carson Lake Location near Hibbing and had married Andrew Paglarini in 1938.  When not caring for the family she loved, Stephonia loved to play in the leagues at the Hibbing Bowling Center, golf in the Senior Women’s League and she also loved to travel with her husband while he competed nationally in horseshoe competitions.  In her later years she loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters Andrea Gustafson of Hibbing and Roberta (Jack) Yates of Hutchinson MN, her son Ron Paglarini of Hibbing, her grandchildren; Darby Gustafson, Dale Gustafson, Kim Gustafson Phelps, Don Gustafson, Darrell Gustafson, Wendie Paglarini Redman and Jeff Yates, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, her sisters Olga Gregorich and Mary Hecimovich and her son in law Dale Gustafson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 17,  at 11a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  The Rev. Anthony Craig will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.  Visitation will be in the church Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.  Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
