Steven John Nadeau

Steven J. Nadeau, 61, longtime resident of Chisholm, and formerly of Hibbing died Monday, May 27, 2019 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  He was born July 28, 1957 to John B. and Dorothy (Fox) Nadeau in Hibbing.  Steven was employed as a welder for L & M Radiator in Hibbing.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hibbing.  Steven loved racing; everything from Enduros to Nascar.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, especially for various fundraisers throughout the region. Steven also enjoyed being with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Nadeau, son, Michael (Nicole) Nadeau, both of Chisholm, MN, three siblings, Nancy (Larry) Galatz, Hibbing, Michelle (Mark) Gardeski, Hibbing, and John (Jason Hall) Nadeau, Minneapolis, MN, brothers-in-law, Jim Hipple, Apple Valley, MN, Steve (Gloria) Kavolich, Chisholm, MN, and James Kavoloich, Chisholm, MN, sister-in-law, Connie (Ron) Ceminsky, Prior Lake, MN, his nieces and nephews, Krista & Jenna, Sarah & Emily, Tom & Joe, Stephanie & Rebecca, and his 6 granddogs,

He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Dorothy Nadeau, his mother and father-in-law, Steve and Shirley Kavolich, sister-in-law, Jackie Hipple, and two uncles George Kavolich, and Chuck Fox.

Funeral services for Steven will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 31, 2019 at Immcaulate Conception Catholic Church in Hibbing.  The Rev. Fr. Anthony Craig will officiate.  Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  The visitation will then continue on Friday at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
