Susan Marie Krouse

Susan Marie Krouse age 64 of Virginia passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Essentia Health Miller Dwan in Duluth. She was born February 21, 1959 to George and Ann (Moe) Krouse in Milwaukee, WI. Susan graduated from Nashwauk High School in 1977, following graduation she attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN where she received degrees in anthropology and sociology in 1981. She worked for Thompson-Reuters Corporation in Eagan, MN for 30 years. Following retirement she relocated to Virginia, MN. In her youth she attended Nashwauk Lutheran church and later in life was a member of PEO Hastings Chapter. Susan was an intelligent and loving person, she had a soft spot for animals and recently became a fan of hockey, especially the Minnesota Wild. She always knew the players and would try to watch as many games as she could. Susan is survived by her mother, Ann Krouse, brother, Dan (Vicki) Krouse, nephews, Lee and Jack Krouse, aunts, Betty Moe and Phebe Krouse, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, George, and her grandparents. A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Nashwauk Lutheran Church in Nashwauk. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the beginning of the service at 11. Private interment will be held at a later date.
