Susan Elaine “Suzy” Monson
Susan Elaine “Suzy” Monson, 66, Hibbing, was welcomed into the arms of God and her son Ryan, in Heaven on Monday November 6, 2017 at Essentia St. Mary’s in Duluth. She was born in St. Cloud to Robert and Marvene (Brown) Monson on February 10, 1951. She worked at Aspen Grove and Delta Airlines. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hibbing. Suzy loved to sew and make crafts. She loved to garden and camp. She was known for her infectious laugh and sense of humor.
She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Rafinski, and Michelle Pederson, very special family members, Ken (Julie) Ness, her two fur babies, Levi and Sissy, 7 grandchildren, Richard (Danielle) Weberg III, Hayleigh (Ryan Maki) Ness, Amanda Ness, Megan Voss, Lucas Pederson, Lexi Fillman, and Nate Wessman, two great grandchildren, Richard “RJ” Weberg IV and Kinzley Lynn Maki, 5 sisters, Karen (Brian), Evelyn, Cathy, Roxanne, and Brenda (Frank).
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm. Friday November 17, 2017 in the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
