Tamara Jean Thompson
Tamara Jean Thompson, 53, of Hibbing, MN, died unexpectedly on Wed. morning, Nov. 18, 2015 in Hibbing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was born in Virginia, MN, on Feb. 19, 1962 to Joyce and Eugene Singleton. She attended Hibbing Community College to obtain her RN license and later worked full time as a nurse/case manager. Family (including her dogs) was the most important thing in her life. She always had time for all her family and was a great listener. When you were done talking with her about a crisis going on in your life, you always left feeling better. She will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by husband, Jerry Thompson, her children, Tiffany (Chris) Skalsky, Troy (Amber) Silvia and Jesse Thompson, all of Hibbing, her mother Joyce (Dick) Inkman, siblings, Mike Singleton, Joe Singleton, Tim Singleton and Sharon Stanczyk and grandchildren Aysia Skalsky, Abryana Skalsky, Faith Silvia, Kylee Silvia and Cameo Sauter.
She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Singleton.
A celebration of Tamara’s life will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 in the Open Door Church, Hibbing. The Rev. Roland Weaver will officiate. Visitation will be in the church, Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.
