Thomas Abbey

Thomas Abbey, 58, of Hibbing, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born on August 24, 1959 in Hibbing, MN, to Bette (Schill) and Tom Abbey Sr. Tom was a simple man known for his practical jokes. He worked as a fabricator making boats for most of his working career. Tom moved back to Hibbing, after he had made his home on the west coast. Tom is survived by his daughter, Erin Abbey; granddaughters, Liley and Mirrah; grandson, Seth; sisters, Vicki, Jo, Cinda and Betsy and special friends, Tony, Dennis and Brian. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Bette (Schill) and Tom Abbey Sr. and his son, Joshua.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Following Toms wishes his ashes will be scattered on the west coast.
