Thomas E. Petrick, 96, lifelong Hibbing resident, died Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  He was born in Morris Location near Hibbing on Oct. 28, 1916, to John and Mary Petrick.
He is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Richard) Bjorum of International Falls, MN; a son-in-law, Alphonse Krey, of St .Joseph, MN; five grandchildren:  Steven (Lori) Krey, Gary Krey, Paul (Mandy) Krey, Elissa (Michael) Kaminsky, and Erika (Daniel Ungier) Bjorum; 4 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola; a daughter, Cynthia Krey; by his parents, by three brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be 10—11 AM on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Hibbing.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.  To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.doughertyofhibbing.com.
