Timothy "Tim" K. Lee

It is with profound sadness that the vibrant flame that defined the life of Tim Lee has now gone dark. Our beloved father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away on November 20, 2024.

Born on September 20, 1953 to Richard and Patricia (Kremer) Lee, Tim was the fourth of five children. His adventurous and sometime rebellious spirit was the signature of his life. And he lived life to the fullest. Following graduation from Hibbing High School in 1972, Tim immediately began working in the family business, Range Cornice and Roofing, eventually retiring as an owner. Apart from his dedication to his work, his passion was to explore the boundaries of living.

An avid outdoorsman and Harley Davidson enthusiast broadened his scope of adventure and connected him with many close friends. He spent much of his free time at the hunting shack on the Bear River or travelling to wonderous destinations on his motorcycle. 

As his health became more of an issue, he moved to the Twin Cities to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren, living at the Suite Living Senior Care center. It was there that his infectious spirit connected him with the residents. His many talents shined as he took on the tasks of the resident gardener or fixing and tinkering with the issues the residents brought to him.

He is survived by his daughter Jessica (Kevin) Newcomb, granddaughters Hannah and Laila, brother Tom, sister Sally (Michael) Valentini, sister MaryAnn (Tim) Rasch and brother Chris. He also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends who will remember him as the life of the party and most often the instigator of the party.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, December 13 at Bimbos Octagon from 3pm to 6pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Side Lake Rec Center would be his request.
