Todd Cameron Wakefield

Todd C. Wakefield, 53, Rosmount, MN, formerly of Buhl, MN died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Abbott Northwest Hospital in Minneapolis.  He was born on July 27, 1963 to Raymond and Carole (Jankila) Wakefield Sr. in Seattle, WA.  Todd graduated from Martin Hughes High School in Buhl and later completed a two year program at Eveleth Vocational Technical College in Carpentry.  He was most recently employed with Pro Design Custom Cabinetry in Shakopee, MN.  He previously owned and operated Wakefield Woodworks.  Todd was in the industry for over 30 years.  A few of his hobbies were cars and motorcycles, but most of all from a young age, was his passion for woodworking.

He is survived by his mother, Carole (Jankila) Wakefield, Buhl, MN, sister, Susan (Norman) Nelson, Lake Vermilion, Cook, MN, brothers, Raymond (Gladys) Wakefield Jr., Hibbing, MN, John Wakefield, Superior, WI, and Mitchell Wakefield, Buhl, MN, two nieces, Leah and Tionna, his nephew, Jake, two great-nieces, Melody and Lilionna, two-great-nephews, Blaze and Joseph, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Wakefield Sr., and sister, Shari Wakefield.

Funeral services for Todd Cameron Wakefield will be 1:00pm, Friday, January 13, 2017 at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  The Rev. Kevin Olson will officiate.  Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  The visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Friday.  Interment will be Lakeview Cemetery of Buhl, MN.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
