Voncille “Vicki” Audrey Schaefbauer
Voncille “Vicki” Audrey Schaefbauer, 91, Hibbing, died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Crookston, MN to Henry and Alpha Gilthvedt on December 17, 1922. She and her husband Louie had been owners and operators of the Airway Inn for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Louis, of Hibbing; two sons, Jim (Pat) Vosburg, Woodbury, MN and Mark (Jaqi) Vosburg, Hibbing; five sisters: Hurdis Lindberg, Mora, MN, Joyce (Samuel) Perkins, Kalispell, MT, Molly Schultz, New Ulm, MN, Judy Slen, Roseville, MN, and Bonnae Mastroianni, Los Angeles, CA; a brother, Harley (Viola) Gilthvedt, Auburn, WA; 3 grandchildren: Scott, Cliff, and Misha Vosburg; 4 great grandchildren: Blakke, Niko, and Olivia Vosburg and Kona Dancil; a great great grandson Kohen Vosburg and by an aunt, Irene Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Allayne Glover, Marilyn Johnson, and Karyl Nisly.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, in the Dougherty Funeral Home with the Rev. Fr. Gabriel Waweru officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Buyck Forest Home Cemetery at a later date.
