Warren Allen Lundgren

Warren A. Lundgren, 75, longtime resident of Hibbing died Monday, April 22, 2019, in his home.  Warren was born on July 18, 1943, to Verlin and Erna (Doerr) Lundgren in Minneapolis, MN.  He spent his childhood years in Wahpeton, ND, and graduated with an AA from the local college there.  He enlisted with the Army National Guard after school.  For most of Warren’s life, he lived between Hibbing and Madison, WI, and was employed in sales with various companies throughout his life including Staver Foundry, Northern Ductile, Madison KIP, and Ken Waschke Auto Plaza.  He was an avid outdoorsman who absolutely loved fishing. He also enjoyed camping, bike riding, riding his motorcycle, and cross country skiing. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hibbing where he enjoyed being an usher.

He is survived by his son, Scott (Tracy) Lundgren, Longview, TX, daughter, Sarah (Jim) Mattson, Excelsior, MN, sister, Lynn (Scott) Rerick, Ashley, ND, brother, Glenn (Andrea) Lundgren, Aurora, IL, two grandchildren Joe Mattson and Grace Mattson, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Verlin and Erna.
