Warren M. Marovich, 67, Nashwauk, died Friday, August 21, 2015, in his home. He was born in Hibbing, MN on July 8, 1948, to John and Marguerite Marovich. Warren served in the US Army and had worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and as a truck driver for various area construction companies. He adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his companion, Charlene Elj, of Nashwauk; three children: Warren Marovich, Jr., Steven Marovich of Nashwauk, and Jeremy (Christa) Marovich of Keewatin; six grandchildren: Tyson Elj, Tegan Elj, Dalton Gillman, Samantha Kozar, Hannah Lamere, and Megan Lamere; by a great-granddaughter, Avery Rose Marie Kozar, and by many siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and by three brothers and two sisters.
Per Warren’s wishes, there will be no services held. Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.
