After driving for millions of miles, William "Jerry" Bizal, hung up his keys for the last time on March 3, 2025, at the age of 83. He spent his life driving trucks and semis across the U.S. and Canada. Running his own business was a pleasure. Always a perfectionist, his vehicles were in great shape. Very outgoing and helpful, he had many long friendships. Above all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather as he had the biggest heart.
He is survived by his wife Bunny Husten, children Jamie (Michael) Pavich, Cheryl (Steven) Skorich, Jeri Lynn (Andy) Merrick and their mother Gail Bizal, grandchildren Tiffany (Mark Roine) King, Troy King, Travis (Lexi) King, Stephanie (Jeremy) Uncini, Brandon (Katarina) Skorich, Rachael (Isiah) Dilley and Natalie Skorich, siblings Ed (Diane) Bizal, Bernie (Peggy Saari) Bizal, Joanne (Greg) Buus, Carol (Terry) Pogorels and Cheryl (Kevin) Piron, Bunny's daughter Wendy (Michael) Odeen and their children Cali (Ben Thomas) and Ellie Odeen, great grandchildren Jack and Ada Lunning, Isabelle, Charlotte and Amelia King, Vivienne, Karter Joan and Hayes King, Ezra and Leif Uncini, Henley Dilley and Layne Skorich, numerous nieces, nephews and last but not least, his Side Lake coffee group.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Edith (Rigg) Bizal.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Side Lake Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Fr. Daniel Weiske will officiate services. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hibbing Fairview and Mayo Health Care Systems and Hospice. In lieu of flowers or memorials, please consider a donation to hospice, cancer research or the Angel Fund.
